* WHAT...For the first Heat Advisory, heat index values between 95
and 100 degrees. For the second Heat Advisory, heat index values
between 95 and 103 degrees expected.
* WHERE...The Capital District, mid Hudson Valley and southern
Taconics in eastern New York, the southern Berkshires in western
Massachusetts, the Litchfield Hills in northwestern Connecticut
and Connecticut River Valley in southern Vermont.
* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until 8 PM EDT this evening.
For the second Heat Advisory, from noon to 8 PM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.
Instruction:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
