* WHERE...In Colorado, Central Yampa River Basin and Lower Yampa
River Basin. In Utah, Eastern Uinta Basin.
* WHEN...For the first Freeze Watch, from late Thursday night
through Friday morning. For the second Freeze Watch, from Friday
evening through Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.
Instruction:
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to
drip slowly.
