Description:
At 404 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles south of Thatcher to near Tyrone to
near Model. Movement was east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of central Las
Animas County east of highway 350.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
