Description:
At 905 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles east of Delhi, or 30 miles southwest of La Junta, moving south
at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Timpas and open country east of highway 350.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
