At 317 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Eldorado Springs, or 21 miles northwest of Denver, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Thornton, northwestern Arvada, Westminster, Boulder, Broomfield, northern Northglenn, Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Superior, Rocky Flats, Eldorado Springs, Niwot, Marshall and Crescent Village.
