Description: 
At 350 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles north of Pritchett, or 13 miles northwest of Springfield, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph, half inch hail and brief heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Prowers, northwestern Baca and southeastern Bent Counties.
