At 750 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles south of Lyons, or 30 miles south of Fort Collins, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Northern Boulder, Longmont, Firestone, Frederick, Berthoud, Mead, Lyons, Niwot, Hygiene and Campion.
