Description:
At 521 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northwest of Gypsum, or 17 miles northeast of Glenwood Springs,
moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Eagle, Gypsum, Edwards, Dotsero, Wolcott, Bond, and Sweetwater.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 127 and 157.
Colorado 131 between mile markers 1 and 9, and between mile markers
15 and 16.
