Description:
At 257 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms over
mostly rural areas of Routt County. Movement was northeast at 45
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Steamboat Springs, Mt Zirkel, and Clark.
This includes the following highways...
U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 123 and 139.
Colorado 131 between mile markers 66 and 68.
