At 1124 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms 8 miles north of San Luis Lake, or 23 miles north of Alamosa, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Hooper, Great Sand Dunes, San Luis Lake, and Blanca Peak.
