At 408 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 14 miles south of Palisade, or 20 miles southeast of Grand Junction, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Cedaredge, Mesa, Skyway, and Whitewater. This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 41 and 58. Colorado 65 between mile markers 12 and 19, and between mile markers 22 and 57. Colorado 141 between mile markers 152 and 154.
