Southwestern Yuma County in northeastern Colorado...
* Until midnight MDT.
* At 1110 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles east of
Cope, or 23 miles west of Bonny Reservoir, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Yuma County, including the following locations... Joes
and Kirk.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
This thunderstorm is producing accumulating hail, which will make
driving hazardous, similar to snow or ice. If you must travel, be
aware of rapidly changing road conditions.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
