Description:
At 233 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of
D.I.A Terminal and Concourses, or 15 miles east of Denver, moving
northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.
Locations impacted include...
Northeastern Denver, Aurora, eastern Commerce City, Denver
International Airport, D.I.A Terminal and Concourses, Bennett,
Watkins and Manila Village.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.
Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Seek shelter
immediately in an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
structure.
Heavy rain is occurring with this storm and may lead to flooding. Do
not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
