Southeastern Kit Carson County in east central Colorado... * Until 615 PM MDT. * At 535 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Vona to Kit Carson, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * These severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly rural areas of Cheyenne and southeastern Kit Carson Counties in east central Colorado, including the following locations... Arapahoe and Firstview. This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 136 and 184.
