* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 10 below. * WHERE...Unalaska, Akutan, and Nikolski. * WHEN...Until noon AKDT today. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Overall windy and snow showery conditions will persist into early next week, but the lowest wind chills and visibilities are expected through Saturday morning. Ongoing snow showers may occasionally reduce visibilities to 1 mile or less at times.
