At 1257 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Walker, or 7 miles south of Coleville, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Topaz Lake, Coleville, Walker, Wellington, Monitor Pass, Nv 208 At Douglas-Lyon Co Line, Junction U.S 395 And CA 89, Bootleg Campground, Holbrook Junction, Topaz Lake Campground, and Smith Valley.
