At 853 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Tyronza to near Downtown Memphis. Movement was southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Bartlett, Germantown, West Memphis, Marion, Marked Tree, Tyronza, T O Fuller State Park, Meeman Shelby Forest State Park, Memphis, Joiner, Crawfordsville, Sunset, Gilmore, Bassett, Jericho, Southwest Memphis, Whitehaven, Frayser, Midtown Memphis, and Southeast Memphis.
