At 729 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Marion, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... West Memphis, Marion, T O Fuller State Park, Memphis, Crawfordsville, Edmondson, Sunset, Jericho, Southwest Memphis, Downtown Memphis, Whitehaven, Frayser, Midtown Memphis, Crittenden, Mound City, Gammon, Brice, Cunningham Corner, Amanea, and Wyandoke. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 in Arkansas between mile markers 268 and 284. Interstate 40 in Tennessee between mile markers 1 and 5. Interstate 240 between mile markers 25 and 30. Interstate 55 in Arkansas between mile markers 1 and 15. Interstate 55 in Tennessee between mile markers 5 and 12.
