Description:
At 733 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Pinckney to near
Harmontown. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Southaven, Horn Lake, Hernando, Senatobia, John W Kyle State Park,
Memphis, Sardis, Coldwater, Como, Walls, Horseshoe Lake, Lake
Cormorant, Harmontown, Eudora, Arkabutla, Barr, Pinckney, Lynchburg,
Phillipp, and Independence.
This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 251
and 287.
Instruction:

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
northwestern Mississippi. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch also remains in
effect until 900 PM CDT for eastern Arkansas.
