At 309 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 10 miles southeast of Huttig to 6 miles east of Homer, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Monroe, Ruston, Claiborne, West Monroe, Grambling, Huttig, Brownsville-Bawcom, Brownsville-Bawcomville, Swartz, Farmerville, Richwood, Haynesville, Bernice, Sterlington, Cooley, Dubach, Choudrant, Simsboro and Marion.
