TANANA RIVER BREAKUP CONTINUES TO PROGRESS DOWNSTREAM OF NENANA.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Manley
* WHEN...Through Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The Nenana Ice Classic tripod toppled on Monday and the
breakup front continues to progress downstream towards
Manley. Water levels at Manley are rising and ice is
starting to shift. As the ice is mobilized, the potential
for an ice jam below Manley exists.
