* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam occurring.
* WHERE...Napaskiak, Oscarville, And Napakiak.
* WHEN...Until 900 PM AKDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 615 PM AKDT, the River Watch Team reported an ice jam on
the Kuskokwim River near Napaskiak, Oscarville, and Napakiak
remains intact and continues to cause localized flooding of
roads, boardwalks, and low-lying areas within these
communities. Impounding water due to the ice jam will
continue to cause river rises upstream in these communities.
