* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam occurring.
* WHERE...Napaskiak, Oscarville, And Napakiak.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM AKDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 752 AM AKDT, The River Watch Team reported an ice jam on
Kuskokwim River near Napaskiak, Oscarville, and Napakiak
along with localized flooding of roads, boardwalks, and low-
lying areas within these communities. Impounding water due to
the ice jam will continue to cause rapid river rises upstream
in these communities.
