Description:
At 735 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Scottsboro, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Ponding on area roadways and
very localized flash flooding is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Scottsboro, Stevenson, Hollywood, Skyline, Bass, Martintown, Fackler,
and Larkinsville.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
