At 651 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Concord, or near Hueytown, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Southwestern Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Bessemer, Homewood,
Pelham, Helena, Hueytown, Fairfield, Pleasant Grove, Midfield,
Adamsville, Brighton, Indian Springs Village, Lipscomb, Sylvan
Springs, Mulga, Maytown, North Johns, and Birmingham Fairgounds.
