Description:
At 758 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Gurley, or 14 miles west of Scottsboro, moving north at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea to dime size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Woodville, Pleasant Groves, Paint Rock, Princeton, Trenton, Garth,
and Hollytree.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
