Description:
At 243 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Woodville, or 13 miles west of Scottsboro, moving northeast at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Scottsboro, Hollywood, Skyline, Gurley, Woodville, Pleasant Groves,
Hytop, Paint Rock, Martintown, and Lim Rock.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
