Description:
At 729 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Wilmer to 4 miles west of Semmes to Tanner
Williams. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Midtown Mobile, Semmes, Tanner Williams, Mobile Regional Airport, and
Wilmer.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
southwestern Alabama.
