Description:
At 846 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Porterville, or 11 miles southeast of De Kalb, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Livingston, Forkland, Boligee, Epes, Emelle, Boyd, Walden Quarters,
The University Of West Alabama, Bluffport, Thornhill, Dug Hill,
Tishabee, Belmont, Demopolis Lock And Dam, Sumterville, McDowell,
Five Points Intersection, Payneville, and Birdine.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
