Description:
At 725 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 16 miles northwest of Laurel Hill to 3 miles
southwest of Lockhart. Movement was southwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Florala, Baker, Laurel Hill, and Lockhart.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central Alabama.
