At 1013 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms
capable of producing a waterspout over Lake along a line extending
from 8 miles southwest of Hatteras Ferry Terminal to near Frisco.
Movement was northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
hazardous waters. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs
and blow around unsecured objects.
