Strong northeasterly wind gusts not associated with thunderstorms have developed across part of the U.S. Highway 20 region in eastern Iowa. Waterloo Airport gusted to over 60 mph with isolated wind damage reported. While winds are not expected to be that strong to the east, gusts over 40 mph are expected for parts of Benton, Buchanan, Delaware, and northern Linn Counties.
