* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation. Snow and sleet accumulations
around one inch with most of it falling as sleet, and ice
accumulations between one and three tenths of an inch.
* WHERE...Northern Penobscot, Southeast Aroostook, Northern
Piscataquis, and Northern Somerset Counties.
* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Isolated power outages
are possible from the freezing rain. Significant amounts of sleet
today topped with freezing rain tonight will make removal very
difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday
evening commute.
