* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
accumulations between 2 and 5 inches, sleet accumulations between
1 and 2 inches, and ice accumulations between one tenth and one
quarter of an inch.
* WHERE...Northeast Aroostook and Northwest Aroostook Counties.
* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 8 AM EDT Thursday. Snow changes
to sleet this afternoon, then mixes with or changes to freezing
rain late Wednesday evening and overnight.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Significant amounts of
sleet will make snow removal very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning
commutes.
