...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...
Sac River near Caplinger Mills affecting Cedar County.
For the Sac River...including Caplinger Mills...Moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Sac River near Caplinger Mills.
* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, flood waters affect low lying areas near
the river including farmland along Highway N and between Highway W
and Caplinger Mills. Cedar Creek...a tributary of the Sac River
backwaters and floods portions of Highway 39 and south of Cedar
Springs.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 21.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 1:45 AM CDT Tuesday was 21.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 21.6 feet this morning. It
will then fall below flood stage this evening to 12.8 feet
just after midnight tonight. It will rise to 13.7 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then fall again and remain below
flood stage.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
21.8 feet on 08/06/2013.
